It was so hard to say goodbye to our dear nurse Adrianne this week!
The month of August ended our ONE YEAR (wow!) contract with having a nurse to take care of our Ellie. What a year - there were many many low, hard days that I was on my knees thanking God we had the help! Even up until the end, I was so grateful for it and it was really hard to trust and let go.
So our dear Adrianne who was our very first nurse, was in our house for an entire year and knew our family, our needs, our routine and our girl so well - it seemed she was a member of this household. My favorite (of many) memory of her is when Ellie was only 5 or 6 months old and Adrianne used to hold Ellie the entire shift if needed if she was crying. She was able to hold her and chart her notes and was just here to serve. We loved her and will miss her!
Although I believe she'll be coming around from time to time because I don't think the children will let me forget to keep in touch with her! They've already talked about missing her these past few days.
God bless you Adrianne - it's time for you to help other little ones heal and grow like you did for Ellie.
